If you've been dismissed, this was made for you
You've been told your bloods are normal. Or that you're too young for perimenopause. Or handed a prescription for sleeping medication or antidepressants before anyone asked about your hormones. So now you're piecing it together yourself at 11pm, one contradictory article at a time.
You don't need more information. You're drowning in information. You need a doctor with the time to explain it properly, so you know what's true and what to do next.
That's this course.
These are the words I hear in my clinic, week after week:
"I'm doing everything right and it's still not working."
"What is wrong with me? Why can't I cope like I used to?"
"I feel like I haven't been myself for years, and I want me back."
Who's teaching this
I'm Dr Taisia Cech (MBChB, BSc, FRNZCGP, FASLM), a GP in women's health, based in Wanaka.
I sit with women going through this exact transition every week, and I see what a 15-minute appointment can never fix. She doesn't lack effort. She lacks guidance, the right tests, and someone to help her make sense of it all.
Traditionally, perimenopause has been approached mainly as a medication question. My work brings the hormones, the lifestyle medicine and the metabolic layer together, because your sleep, your food, your muscle and your hormones are one system, not four separate problems.
This course is the explaining an appointment never has time for.
What's inside
Six things you'll understand by the end.
What perimenopause actually is
What's really happening in your body, and the stages you can expect, so you can finally name what's going on.
Your hormone journey from your late 30s
How your hormones shift over the years, and why that produces so many different symptoms across your whole body.
Why menopause happens at all
The biology behind it, including early menopause, surgical menopause and primary ovarian insufficiency.
What it means long term
What your changing hormones mean for your bones, your heart and your brain in the years ahead, so you can invest in yourself for the long term.
HRT, explained properly
What the evidence actually says about HRT, alongside your other options for support, so you can make your own informed decision.
Which tests, and how to ask
Which tests are worth considering, and how to talk to your doctor, so you walk into your next appointment knowing exactly what to ask for.

Feedback from my courses:
“The Perimenopause Reset course was absolutely fantastic. I’ve gained a much better understanding of myself, my stressors, and what truly supports my wellbeing. I loved the balance of science and practicality, and how clearly the ‘why’ behind each change was explained. I now feel far more confident navigating both the present and what’s ahead👏🏻"
